Since I started on Economics, I have had the ambition to learn to use my education to make life a little easier for those most in need in the community. Economists Without Borders (ØUG) provides, among other things, financial advice to voluntary organizations that make an effort to help vulnerable groups in society. Cooperation with the Danish Women's Society Counseling (DKR) was for me particularly interesting since it opened the opportunity to gain insight into what kind of challenges Danes have, they need help to cope.
The cooperation with DKR was to pinpoint the value of the advice community, qualitatively as well as quantitatively. DKR offers free, anonymous legal and psychological counseling for distressed men and women with problems of a different character (as relationship problems, koenen tumor violence, depression, personal finance, etc.).
