On October 2, 2013, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was held at the Hotel Park Avenue, Sungai Petani for the preparation of the Draft Regional Plan Review Final Report (South Kedah - Pulau Pinang - North Perak). This discussion has been managed by the Regional Plan Unit, Division of Regional Planning (BPW).
Discussion was held to seek the views of technical agencies in identifying priority issues, coordinating regional development directions and recommendations as input in the preparation of the Regional Plan. A total of 30 technical agencies were involved including the consultant study of the Environmental Planning Group (EPG).
The discussion begins with a welcome speech of welcome by the Project Manager, Mrs. Hazizah daughter of Solomon and then briefed by the Chief Negotiator, Mr. Bane Sahrir bin Zainal relevant research findings.
